Pri-Num became a sponsor of the international children’s football tournament BENFICA CUP, which was organized by Benfica Ukrainian Football Academy.
The Benfica Cup is the first international tournament organized by the Benfica Ukrainian Football Academy. Set in Ukraine, the tournament was attended by both local and international teams. For three days, exciting matches in three different age categories took place. The event was organized by the Benfica Ukrainian Football Academy, in the Olympic Village’s sports and fitness complex, near Kyiv.
Historically, Pri-Num has never shied away from sports, especially football. The team wasn’t about to miss a world-class sporting event, which is why Pri-Num became a sponsor of the Benfica Cup of Children’s Football. Pri-Num believes that children require support to achieve their goals; the kind of support that helps them stay motivated to continue engaging in the practices they love.
“Pri-Num is pleased to be part of the team of sponsors of the Benfica Cup of Children’s Football Tournament, which together strives to support the young talents of Ukrainian and world football. Today we saw an exciting and interesting match from promising teams, and we hope to see the same success as the years go by.”
Pri-Num said in a statement.
Partners of the Benfica Cup have prepared many prizes for the tournament’s participants. Three of the children nominated in the “Best Player of the Tournament” category received gifts from Pri-Num. And for the girls, who performed equally well in the games and won special nominations, Pri-Num presented bouquets of flowers and presents.
For the young participants, a significant event during the tournament was receiving a visit from the legendary Luisão, who was once captain of the Benfica club. The Brazilian footballer didn’t just support players; he also awarded prizes, handed out autographs and took pictures with every team.
The club’s commercial director Bernardo Carvalho also came to the awarding ceremony, as did the leaders of the worldwide network of the Sport Lisboa e Benfica Academy, David Gomes and Miguel Reisch.
Pri-Num hopes to connect to young talent well beyond sports, in areas like modern IT and digital professions.
The organizers also assured that the tournament will be a yearly tradition, and they are waiting for the teams to return next year.
See you on the field in 2020!
